Where can I find your products (other than your website)?

At this point, we’re selling online only via our website, but we’ve got our eyes on some wonderful boutique outlets, so stay tuned. In fact, why not sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date?

Do you ship Internationally?

No, we do not yet ship internationally. But you never know! Again, Please check back periodically to see for updates!

Where are your chocolates and confections created?

Our small-batch, hand-made confections are created, dipped in chocolate, and packaged with great care in Beaverton, Oregon, right outside of Portland.

What is the shelf life of your products?

We make our chocolates using only the finest and freshest ingredients, without artificial preservatives. This means shelf life can vary depending on storage temperature, humidity, handling, and exposure to light.

However, in perfect conditions, each of our four products has a shelf life of approximately one month.

How should I store my chocolates? Should I refrigerate them?

Follow these guidelines to help maintain the freshness and flavor of your chocolates.

Which products contain alcohol?

Our Plum Ganache contains plum liqueur and our Whiskey Walnut Truffles contain Bourbon Whiskey, although the alcohol is at such low levels that minors can eat our chocolates!

Are your products all-natural?

Everything is hand-made using only the finest and freshest all-natural ingredients. We do not add any preservatives to our chocolates, although we may use artificial flavors in some chocolate products.

What allergen risks do your products pose? 

Some of our chocolates contain ingredients that could pose allergen risks, so please closely examine the label of your chocolates for ingredients you’re allergic to. Additionally, even if the product does not pose a direct allergen risk, please be advised that our chocolates are manufactured in a facility that handles peanuts, tree nuts (almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, and macadamia nuts), milk, eggs, and soybean and wheat products.

I have a nut allergy—are your products nut-free?

Our products do contain nuts—walnuts and pistachios. In addition, our chocolates are manufactured in a facility that handles peanuts, tree nuts (almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, and macadamia nuts), milk, eggs, and soybean and wheat products.

Do you have any Kosher products? 

Sorry, not right now. 

Do you have any vegan products? 

Sorry, not right now. 

Do you have any gluten-free products? 

Our products don’t contain gluten; however, they’re made they’re made in a facility that handles milk, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts.

Do you sell sugar-free chocolates? 

Sorry, we do not. 

Does your chocolate contain soy lecithin? 

The Cacao Barry chocolate does not contain soy lecithin. However, the Plum Ganache uses milk chocolate that does contain soy lecithin.

Do you use fair-trade chocolate? 

Cacao Barry is not certified fair-trade however it is taking part in "Forever Chocolate", a pledge to achieve never-heard before goals for a sustainable growth within the industry. The reality of climate change - deforestation, carbon emissions - is a threat to the cocoa ecosystem, the lives of farmers and the taste of cacao. The only way to overcome it is to let nature do what it has been doing for millions of years: thrive. Cacao Barry is working on implementing practices that will enable them to produce carbon neutral chocolates by 2025. 

Do you offer factory tours? 

We don't offer tours currently, but we're happy to provide a demonstration of our confections with advance notice.
